Stonefoxx Dance Crew is sexy, rugged and all female. This diverse crew continually keeps their audience engaged when taking to any stage. A Stonefoxx performance is a self choreographed raw but sassy Hip Hop showcase that mixes both masculine and feminine movements to create a new definition of sexy. They are versatile, entertaining, in your face and undeniably hot.
Brought together in 2006, due to a lack of creative outlets in Vancouver at the time, director/member, Jen Oleksiuk, decided to call up the top female dancers in the city to do what was thought to be a fun onetime performance. Immediately, after their first show the girls were in high demand. Being asked to perform everywhere from fashion shows, nightclubs, elite competitions, showcases, clothing lines to award shows. Inevitably, after three months of non-stop work, Stonefoxx Dance Crew officially formed!
Now the girls of Stonefoxx can be seen anywhere from the stage, feature films, television shows to fashion editorials.
They are not only a top Vancouver dance crew, but also one the leading performance groups in all of Canada. Each member brings a unique and vibrant personality to both the group and to the stage. Their ability to dance like the boys and still work it like the girls, not to mention keeping a sense of humor, is what sets them apart and keeps them in demand.
Although their forte may be in Hip Hop and urban dance their talents and skills in other dance forms are impressive and extensive (see individual bios for details).
Stonefoxx members include: Natasha Gorrie, Maiko Miyauchi, Kathryn Schellenberg, Shauna Smith, Jen Oleksiuk, Lisa Metz and Megan Trainer. They have taught, performed and trained everywhere from Vancouver, New York, the United Kingdom, Germany, California to South Africa.
Below listed are their combined credits:

Founder, director and manager of Stonefoxx Dance Crew, Jen is the main choreographer and driving force behind the group.
Although Jen didn’t start training in dance until she was 19, she could always be found choreographing and imagining shows since she was young.
It is the combination of Jen’s unique creativity, outgoing personality and her skills as a dancer that keeps her and Stonefoxx Dance Crew in demand.
Her dancing not only involves freestyle, hip hop and street jazz but also west coast swing and lindy hop.

Shauna is one of Stonefoxx Dance Crews’ biggest assets. This Foxx works hard to play hard. She stays focused and motivated, while not taking herself too seriously.
Shauna started taking dance classes as a hobby when she was a teenager. Evidently neither she nor the dance community could deny that she was meant to dance. In 2004 Shauna was a fulltime professional dancer/intructor. Ever since, she has been in demand by studios everywhere from Vancouver, Las Vegas, Seattle to South Africa.
With her forte and passion in R’n’B dance and choreography, Shauna keeps the classic soulful sounds alive in Stonefoxx Dance Crew.

One of the top female dancers in Canada, Tasha, is a major asset to Stonefoxx Dance Crew. She has trained in hip hop since she was young, making her one the most well rounded urban female dancers out there.
Tasha is the ol’skool and ghetto fabulous heart of Stonefoxx Dance Crew. Always progressing to be a better dancer, she keeps the group on their toes while still having a good time.
Although her forte is in urban dance Tasha’s many skills range from freestyle and ol’skool hip hop to jazz and tap.

Probably one the most adorable people you will ever meet, Maiko, is not only one of the sweetest members of Stonefoxx Dance Crew but also one of the most versatile.
Originally Maiko trained for years in her hometown, Japan, as a ballerina. In 1998, she moved to Vancouver, Canada to further her training not only in ballet but also in street jazz and urban dance.
Now Maiko can be scene performing anything from hip hop and street jazz to ballet, broadway jazz, modern and contemporary.

Kathryn is the sexy sassiness of Stonefoxx Dance Crew, keeping the feminine side of the group alive and strong.
Kathryn started dancing in studios as a kid, taking everything from jazz and ballet to hip hop. Her knack for urban dance soon landed her as one of the top working female dancers in the city.
Not only is Kathryn one of the sexiest members in Stonefoxx Dance Crew, she is also one of the most observant. Her meticulous attention to detail is one of the contributing factors to the group’s success.
It may or may not be because of her name but Megan is definitely one of hardest training members Stonefoxx Dance Crew.
Megan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and started dancing at the age of 6 training in tap dance and also at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
Megan’s willingness to test out new styles, contribute ideas and to try anything and make it work have been huge assets to Stonefoxx Dance Crew.
Megan’s dance styles range from hip hop, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern and ballet.

Born and raised in Cochrane, Alberta, Lisa is one of the most driven and determined members of Stonefoxx Dance Crew.
Lisa first started training in Tap dancing when she was young. Eventually she branched out dancing in any form of dance available to her.
Her unstoppable drive, hunger and eagerness to always keep pushing forward are just a few of her many contributing qualities to not only Stonefoxx Dance Crew.
Lisa’s dance background not only includes hip hop and tap but also contemporary and modern dance.
